Description
Modelled somewhat upon Miss Mason’s own programme for Paper Sloyd in the elementary years, the children will work systematically through three set texts, Paper Folding, Paper Tearing, and Paper Modelling. Throughout the course students will progress steadily from building simple designs, such as envelopes, hats, baskets, and flags to more complex models, such as canoes, boats, clocks, pianos, and chests of drawers.
This comprehensive course can begin as early as with pupils of around six years of age in their first year of formal schooling, but may be picked up and worked through by older students of any age who want to establish a firm foundation and working knowledge in Paper Sloyd.
